This backpacking food planner is completely free. Just choose your preferences and select the “plan my meals” button. You’ll get a meal plan with calorie-dense foods that you can find in most supermarkets. We will add more foods and options later on.
For the best experience, use desktop. You won’t be able to save your food plan on mobile (we are working on this feature!). Use the button to generate new results.
Notes:
- If you select “gluten free”, you’ll get foods like tortillas and pasta in the results. Just choose GF versions of these. Corn tortillas have approx. 15 fewer calories each than wheat tortillas. Adjust calorie total accordingly!
- If you select “not bringing stove”, you’ll get dinners (such as ramen) which can be made with the”cold soak” method. Read about how to cold-soak meals here.
